C-Cube Microsystems Inc, Milpitas developer of digital video compression, acquired Media Computer Technologies Inc, privately-held Santa Clara supplier of video processing and windowing chip technology for the personal computer market for $6.3m cash and will have to take a $3.8m one-time charge on the deal.
