Shannon Gilligan, director of US-based InterMagic, in a session at Milia ’95 on The Nuts and Bolts of Production, said C++ gives better performance for a multimedia title than the various authoring systems from Macromedia Inc and Apple Computer Inc, among others. It is, however, more complex and expensive, and needs constant upgrades.
