Competitive Computing, also known as C2, is expanding its mission-critical support services with the new Vigilant24 managed service offering.

According to C2, based on Dell Remote Monitoring platform – the Vigilant24 will enable C2 to deliver remote infrastructure monitoring, management, security and remediation for a variety of technologies including servers, networks, firewalls, storage systems, devices and applications.

The company said the platform tracks and trends performance, alerts the customer to potential problems, recommends resolution, and provides management and other reporting capabilities.

Vigilant24 offers three service levels to choose from, and includes a web interface and pay-per-use subscription model. C2 is also offering complimentary network assessments to help businesses evaluate how the new offering might benefit their organisations.

Todd Kelley, founding partner and VP of operations at C2, said: “Our clients rely on us to keep their systems and networks running around the clock. The Vigilant24 solution nicely complements our existing suite of support services, enabling us to provide our customers with highly reliable and cost-effective services and support that will allow them to focus on their business rather than IT maintenance. Vigilant24 can identify IT issues and make recommendations, often before our clients are even aware of them.”
