The new technology will facilitate clients to deposit checks directly from their place of business. Digital check images are transmitted via the internet for credit to their account.

The new technology will enable companies to reduce the time to deposit checks and may even increase the speed of the availability of funds. This is accomplished by scanning checks received at the customer’s office and transmitting an electronic deposit via the internet to Butte Community Bank for credit directly into a business account.

Julia Wilson, vice president and electronic banking manager at Butte Community Bank, said: Remote deposit offers our business customers a more efficient banking process by improving access to funds and reducing trips to the bank. This service is another example of our focus on technology-based solutions to improve our client’s banking experience.
