BUSINESSLAND TO STOCK MEXT’S WORKSTATIONS OR IBM RT ?

The San Francisco Chronicle doesn’t believe the Wall Street Journal’s story that Businessland Inc is to stock Mext Inc’s workstations in its stores (CI No 1,043): it suggests the chain will be stocking the next generation IBM RT Unix station with the NextStep user interface, and it was this that caused the divorce with Compaq Computer Corp.
