Austin, Texas-based Business Resource Software Inc has an expert system program, called Business Insight, designed to help users assess the potential risks and rewards of their business ideas: running on MS-DOS machines, the program contains an outliner for obtaining information from the user and for presenting reports as well as an underlying spreadsheet for building a five-year projection of the business being considered; Business Insight will be launched at the end of the year – a good six months after the UK’s AI Ltd launched a similar product called ExMar (CI No 1,458); no prices given.
