Business Objects SA unveiled a series of partnerships designed to give customers of its flagship Business-Objects 4.0 access to data-mining techniques. Business Objects, which is based in Paris and has US offices in Cupertino, California, provides on-line analytical processing database searching tools. The seven data- mining partnerships include Angoss Software Inc, DataMind Inc, IBM Corp, ISoft Corp, Right Information Systems Inc, Silicon Graphics Inc, and SPSS Inc. Links between Businees Objects and these partners’ products are available now to Business Objects customers at no charge. The company said integration with IBM’s Intelligent Miner and Silicon Graphic’s MineSet will be out this summer.
