BUSINESS FROM TEXAS HOMECARE

BellSouth Corp’s Dataserv Plc UK leasing arm has landed a UKP30m contract from do-it-yourself chain Texas Homecare. The contract runs for five years and involves upgrading the chain’s 3090-150E to a 200E and later to a 200S, and the installation of IBM 4680 series point-of-sale systems in all the stores in the chain, representing 1,400 checkouts using the Dataserv Automated Credit Card System.
