BURKE BUYOUT AT CONTROL DATA

Control Data Corp has agreement in principle to sell its Burke Marketing Services market research and modelling unit to a group of Burke employees on undisclosed terms. Control Data acquired SAMI-Burke in late 1987 and merged SAMI into its Arbitron Ratings unit in November.
