Burgo Energia, the energy services company for Italian paper manufacturer Cartiere Burgo, will replace its in-house trading platform with KWI’s integrated energy trading software in order to manage its interaction with Ipex, the Italian power exchange, at different levels.
KWI said it will integrate the firm’s portfolio management, trading, invoicing and delivery program management on one system. It will also automate the company’s internal processes in an effort to reduce the risk of human error and improve visibility and monitoring of its total portfolio of positions in real-time.
