NCR Pulse Real-Time app is expected to help Hybrid Dining management make informed decisions, by delivering instant and easy to access metrics and notifications.
The app allows users to look and compare performances at different sites and review live data on their business including sales, promotions and voids, regardless of where they are. It even grants users immediate access to customer receipts, the company said.
Rebecca Phillips, director of Burger King at Hybrid Dining, said the app had made the business more efficient.
"We can set up alerts as we wish and review all data including sales, promotions, voids, labour spend, individual product sales and up sell all as live data," she said.
"This allows actions to be taken throughout the day to review productivity therefore having an overall benefit on our profit. I am confident that the benefits we have seen so far will continue and allow my team to work far more efficiently within their regions, therefore reducing my overall overhead costs."
The app has been developed for Android and I-phones and costs vary depending on the type of deployments and number of sites used by a business.
Paul Grayling, vice-president of NCR Hospitality, said: "Restaurant operators want to stay connected with their restaurants without always having to be at the restaurant or in transit between them. They need a tool which gives them maximum visibility and flexibility."
