The Brussels, Belgium-based company, which was one of many European SAP integration and consulting houses to go public in the late 1990s, will raise 5.2m euros ($6.3m) from the sale of the BvD-it Services NV/SA division, which has 74 employees and made annual sales of 10m euros ($12.2m).
Solvus NV, the staffing agency that owns Bureau van Dijk, said the company will realize a capital gain of 2.3m euros ($2.8m) from the sale, of which 800,000 ($977,000) will be accounted for in 2004. Bureau van Dijk has already sold its French operations and its Java-based internet technology unit.
