Deutsche Bundespost Telekom and Germany’s largest publishing house Axel Springer Verlag AG yesterday announced that they have dissolved their VideoTel GmbH multimedia joint venture, set up two years ago to study what kinds of interactive on-line terminal services could prove popular on the mass market: they said they were pleased with the results of the study, but have decided that both companies would benefit more by developing new multimedia products independently.
