The state-run Vietnam Electronics & Computers Corp in Hanoi is to buy the 30% stake Compagnie des Machines Bull SA holds in their Gen Pacific Co computer distribution joint venture, in an attempt to turn the loss-making company around. Gen Pacific is expected to continue marketing Bull computer equipment after the sale which is set for November.
