Thorn EMI Computer Software Ltd and Bull SA have announced a technical collaboration and marketing agreement for joint promotion of Thorn’s FCS decision support software under the Bull GCOS 7 and GCOS 8 operating systems. The agreement, for the Bull and Honeywell Bull DPS 7, 7000, 8, 8000 and 90 mainframes, is for all countries worldwide where Thorn EMI Computer Software has a presence. There are already over 70 sites running FCS on DPS 7 and DPS 8 mainframes in France, includ.UJ OFF ing the Direction Ge’ne’rale de Te’le’communications and Cre’dit Agricole. The pact is part of Bull’s efforts to ally itself with software firms.
