Compagnie des Machines Bull SA says it is investigating fraudulent actions by some employees and outside contractors, which took place some years ago, adding that it started legal proceedings in March 1991: the company was reacting to an article in satirical and investigative weekly Le Canard Enchaine, which said the company had suffered billions of francs of damage from a fraud in 1989 and 1990 where truckloads of computers intended to be scrapped came back onto the market.
