Bulgarian Telecommunication Co, which is preparing for partial privatization, says it plans to call tenders for construction of two major optical links by year-end. The links will be between Sofia and the town of Petrich, which lies close to the Greek border, and between the town of Haskovo and Kavalla, in Greece, on the Aegean Sea.
