Koninklijke PTT Nederland NV has been actively invading the UK company’s home turf by buying into cable television companies, and yesterday, British Telecommunications Plc reciprocated, with its Syntegra systems integration unit buying Dutch computer services company Rijnhaave Groep NV to further strengthen its position in Europe. It said Rijnhaave has annual revenue of 70m British pounds, and that the consideration was less than one percent of its consolidated net assets. Rijnhave employs about 900 people and makes net profit margin on sales of around 10% in software development, facilities management and network systems integration.
