BT is seeking new revenues to help it achieve annual growth of between 6-8% for the next three years. However, although BT’s new mobile service will operate over mmO2’s network it will not be chasing the same customers. BT is aiming its ‘Mobile Sense’ consumer service at lower-spending users.
BT says that it does not intend its service to be a mass-market offering, instead it is entering the consumer market in a practical and low risk way.
