British Telecommunications Plc is taking a leaf – and a service name – out of AT&T Co’s book, offering a Friends and Family scheme that offers a 5% discount on calls to up to five numbers pre-chosen by the subscriber, in return for a one-off 5 signing on and setting up fee.
