British Telecommunications Plc has rounded up Motorola Inc, Nokia Oy and TRW Inc to join its Quadrant gang formed to bid for a $1bn government contract to create a UK national emergency communications system. The 15-year Public Safety Radio Communications Project order will be awarded by the Home Office.
