The Concert global communications venture between British Telecommunications Plc and MCI Communications Corp is off to a good start and will generate turnover of between UKP150m and UKP200m in its first year, Alfred Mockett, head of British Telecom global communications and a director of MCI told AP-Dow Jones: he reckons that that is quite incredible for a start-up operation, but he’s looking to capture at least 10% of a market that currently stands at UKP27,000m a year and will likely double in five years.
