British Telecommunications Plc has confimed that its wholly-owned City Business Products Ltd subsidiary in Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex, has entered into discussions with Old Woking, Surrey based Alphameric Plc which, if concluded, will lead to to British Telecom acquiring the assets and financial trading systems business of the Alphameric business unit FTTalphameric: an announcement is expected this week.
