British Telecommunications Plc was in Tokyo yesterday, making clear that it was determined to expand its Japanese business mightily and said Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp would be a viable partner for its global strategy. The company aims for a near doubling of revenues at its Japanese operation to $176m over the next two years.
