BT FORMS NEW GLOBAL DIVISION

British Telecommunications Plc has formed a new Global Communications Division with responsibility for developing marketing, sales and service operations for customers that require global services: the unit is headed by Alfred Mockett, who will also join the MCI Communications Corp board once British Telecom’s has landed its 20% stake.
