The UK’s new Labour government is readying itself for its first budget after defeating the Conservative party back in May, and British Telecommunications Plc has said it is ready to take legal action, in the UK and Europe, if it is hit with a windfall profits tax. The Times reports that if the company is faced with the bill it will have to cough up first and then try to reclaim the money later.
