British Telecommunications Plc is expected to unveil its first ever loss on Thursday after providing 230m pounds for exceptional charges and a 500m pound windfall tax. Profits before tax but after the exceptional charges are expected to be down from 730m pounds ($1.19bn) to 640m pounds ($1.05bn).
