Hate it or loathe it, British Telecommunications Plc’s fey red-and-blue piper has blown somebody some good in a most unexpected quarter: the company is stuck with 15,000 engineers’ anoraks, overalls, sweaters and shirts in the old colours and logo, and is donating them to warm up shivering Kurdish refugees.
