British Telecommunications Plc and France Telecom yesterday linked their viewdata services so that Prestel subscribers will be able to access services on France’s Minitel, while Prestel services will progressively be opened up to Minitel users; international viewdata traffic should reach 270,000 hours this year, growth of some 10% over 1991 according to France Telecom.
