To nobody’s surprise, since the shares have been signalling it for days, Hong Kong-based, London-quoted BSR International Plc has said that it has received an approach that could lead to a merger: the former Better Sound Reproduction company is now primarily in power supplies, peripherals and cellular telephone equipment; in some quarters, Motorola Inc, Schaumberg, Illinois is seen as the likely bidder.
