Despite the University of California at Berkeley having voluntarily stopped distributing its Network Release 2 of BSD Unix, while it and Berkeley Software Design Inc and Unix System Laboratories Inc sort out their legal hassles, it continues to be available for anonymous file transfer on over 66 sites and on various CD-ROM distributions; there is nothing that Unix Labs can do about it at this point, it says.
