Promis 5.8 includes new GUI enhancements for performing functions in Task Management, a low-cost equipment maintenance module. The GUI also allows the choice of equipment-centric or lot-centric selection, providing improved fab equipment utilization.
Another new feature is ‘Refresh’, a mechanism to update all relevant specifications for a lot, without opening up opportunity for error in part/step selection which reduces the chance of mis-processing.
Additionally, a real-time integrator (RTI) outbound API now supports web service calls over HHTP. This RTI protocol enables the use of external rules and applications to influence tracking behavior without customizing Promis code.
