Sunrise Clinical Manager includes the modules Sunrise Acute Care, Sunrise Ambulatory Care, Sunrise Critical Care, Sunrise Emergency Care, Sunrise Pharmacy and Sunrise Knowledge-Based Medication Administration.

Sunrise Clinical Manager, along with Sunrise Pharmacy and Sunrise Knowledge-Based Medication Administration, will help The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s clinicians deliver medications more safely to patients. Eclipsys Medication Management tightly integrates the workflows of physicians, pharmacists and nurses with an end-to-end solution that helps reduce miscommunications, delays and avoidable medication errors.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s clinicians will also have access to previous medication orders, the opportunity to review them alongside new orders and plans for care, and a chance to reconcile any differences in a proactive manner. The hospital would leverage the evidence-based order sets in Eclipsys Knowledge-Based CPOE to help improve efficiency and drive adherence to established practices.

Irene Farrelly, COO of The Brooklyn Hospital Center, said: Sunrise Clinical Manager and the Eclipsys XA architecture gives us the modern integrated platform we need to better coordinate care delivery across our expanding enterprise, while also enabling us to participate in regional health information organization (RHIO) initiatives.
