BRITISH TELECOM ORDERS FOUR MORE ICL SERIES 39 LEVEL 80 MAINFRAMES

And British Telecom Plc has ordered four more ICL Series 39 level 80 mainframes taking its total to 17: the latest order is worth UKP11.2m to ICL with the machines forming part of BT’s UKP87m planned spend on the provision of itemised bills; the four 39s replace three ICL 2988s.
