British Telecommunications Plc and Ing C Olivetti & Co SpA have signed a strategic collaboration technology and sales agreement for networked multimedia systems, to be aimed initially at the banking and financial sectors. The systems will be tied to British Telecom’s Integrated Serv-ces Digital Network and include full motion video, high quality sound, and data. Olivetti will contribute personal computer technology, interactive multimedia applications and integration of image, data and sound.
