And British Telecom has sold its 59.5% stake in Aberdeen Cable Services Ltd in pursuance of its new policy of sticking to its last and divesting peripheral interests and diversifications: terms were not disclosed; still up for grabs are Teelcom’s stakes in cable television franchises in Coventry, Swindon and Westminster; stakes in Thames Valley and Ulster have been sold.
