BRITISH TELECOM HAS 28% OF VOICECOM

British Telecom says that after the transactions to merge Friend Technologies Inc into VoiceCom Inc to create VoiceCom Systems Inc (CI No 873), it ends up with 28% of the combined company, for which it paid $3m: it is not saying how much additional capital it is pumping into VoiceCom, which does $11m a year.
