The management team backed by CIN Venture Management, the venture capital arm of the British Coal Pension Fund, and merchant banks and academic institutions has won the bidding for the British Technology Group and will enter detailed negotiations on the transfer from the Department of Trade & Industry: the price bid by the team is thought to be UKP23m plus further payments related to royalty income generated over the next decade.
