BRITISH OLIVETTI EXTENDS THE M380 RANGE WITH TWO NEW MODELS XP4, XP7

And British Olivetti Ltd has extended its M380 range of MS-DOS micros by adding two new models, the XP4, and the XP7, both of which use a 25MHz Intel 80385 chip offering a memory cache of 32Kb RAM: the M380/XP4 comes with either 4Mb RAM or 8Mb RAM on the motherboard, it can run up to three magnetic media, and its expansion bus has five free slots; the M380/XP7 is a floor standing model available in two versions, with a choice of 135Mb or 300Mb hard disks, it has a standard memory of 4Mb expandable to 8Mb, it can accept up to five magnetic recording devices, and the expansion bus has eight free slots out of 10.
