And British Olivetti has cut prices on the same 8086 machines, known here as the M24: a single 360Kb floppy machine drops 22.4% to UKP1,426, the dual floppy version drops 20.9% to UKP1,554, with the standard 20Mb hard disk, single floppy version off 16.0% at UKP2,028 and the faster SP, 10MHz, version of the same configuration is down 15.8% at UKP2,190; the price of the 80286-based M28 AT-alike, which was reduced in February, is unchanged.
