BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH HOLDINGS SAW PRE-TAX PROFITS UP 13%

British & Commonwealth Holdings Plc of London EC2, which bought Atlantic Computers Plc last September saw overall pre-tax profit up 13% to UKP165m on turnover that rose 5% to UKP969m: its computer services division which is entirely composed of Atlantic’s supply business made an operating profit of UKP33.7m over the year with the profits heavily weighted to the last quarter; the Holdings company’s only comment on leasing was that Atlantic had performed in line with expectations.
