British Airways Plc may be bleeding as frequent flyers become frequent stay-at-homes for the duration of hostilities, but what comes down for the airline is going up for British Telecommunications Plc – the company reports a 60% rise in the demand for its videoconferencing services over the past fortnight – at UKP100 an hour for UK links, UKP800 an hour to tie in a continental location, UKP1,400 an hour for a transatlantic link; AT&T Co’s business is up even more, 75%.
