British Airways Plc has ordered a LattisNet local area network from Aldermaston, Berkshire-based Fibernet Ltd to support a network linking 300 staff at its offices in Heathrow House: the network will be used to support IBM PS/2s and compatibles over unshielded twisted pair cabling on six floors, with an unshielded twisted pair backbone; network links between the floors are handled by a 1000E concentrator linked to the main computer room.
