British Aerospace Plc has now decided to use its 25% or so holding in SD-Scicon Plc as the launch-pad for a bid for the company, the Daily Telegraph believes. The paper suggests that if it succeeded, it would seek to sell off parts of the company but retain the defence and some other industrial businesses.
