A consortium headed by British Aerospace Plc has won a $500m contract to build two communications satellites for Orion Network Systems Inc: other members of the consortium are Matra SA, Fokker NV, Ferranti International’s Marquardt Inc, Eagle Pitcher Inc and Telesat Inc.
