The Britannia Building Society has switched its disaster recovery allegiances from Sherwood Locum to NMW Computers Plc; under the terms of the contract, rumoured to be worth UKP350,000 over two years, Nantwich-based NMW will provide a warm site complete with two ICL 39/80s, 40Gb of disk storage, and enough communication equipment to forge links with the Britannia’s 248 regional branches, should disaster strike.
