Computer peripherals manufacturer Bridge Technology Inc has signed a letter of intent to acquire 90% of Centennial Electronics Ltd of Hong Kong. Centennial, which has offices throughout China, is the exclusive authorized distributor for Samsung Electronics Corp in the country. The company also claims to be one of the leading distributors for Fairchild Semiconductors in China. Total revenues in 1998 were $34m, with projected 1999 sales of $47m. For Garden grove, California-based Bridge, which has a current annual run rate of $26m, the deal strengthens its worldwide distribution network.
