BRIDGE CORP AND EAST CORP HAVE JAPANESE LANGUAGE VERSION OF PAGEMAKER

By CBR Staff Writer

Two Japanese software companies, Bridge Corp of Hokkaido, and East Corp of Tokyo, are ready with Japanese langauge versions of Aldus Corp’s PageMaker desktop publishing program PageMaker, for release in January: Bridge will be offering the program for Apple’s Macintosh, while East is doing a version for the top selling machine under the Rising Sun, NEC’s PC-9801; both companies showed Kanji versions of PageMaker at the DataShow trade show in Tokyo last September and plan training centres for it next year.
