So Britain’s beleaguered Chancellor of the Exchequer Norman Lamont is not the only one to get his and the country’s affairs in a mess – floppy disks holding confidential information on international reserves have disappeared from Brazil’s Central Bank, Reuter reports from Brazilia: the disks were found to be missing the bank’s Department of International Reserve Operations and Federal Police are investigating, although there’s nothing that would cause measurable damage.
