Ensec Inc, a developer and installer of all kinds of security systems born in Brazil and headquartered in New York has signed a value-added reseller agreement with ICL Plc under which it will take the ICL AccessManager software product and sell it as part of its EmWorks electronic security system. AccessManager is designed to enhance the security of information within an enterprise, and offers a single sign-on capability which ICL says increases overall productivity. The idea is that users should be able to implement consistent security across diverse, distributed locations; distribute and simplify security administration throughout the organization; provide a common directory containing all security information; integrate business processes involving both electronic and information security, ensuring consistency between the two; generate co-ordinated alerts and responses; integrate audit facilities; and use common authentication mechanisms to simplify user identification and administration.
